With Covid-19 still putting restraints on travel, we can only hope to yo be able to welcome foreign tourists this season. Regardless, we are looking forward to brighter and lighter times with spring fast approaching! One of the first signs of spring for us is the seagulls arriving to nest on the little island in the fjord.

Spring is final here! However this year with a twist. Covid-19 has affected all our lives in so many ways. With borders being closed, we have not been able to welcome any tourists so far this season. However, the Norwegian situation is moving in a positive direction with many other nations following, so we hope this will change soon. Stay safe in the meantime.

It might not look it in the picture but today was windy! So, we stayed onshore to do some fishing with our visitors from Sweden. Resulting in the first pollack of the year. This one was rapidly followed by another two. Not very big, but very tasty! All caught with the colorful “Slukhals”.

With the lobster season over for this year, the festive season is fast approaching! And with that the hunt for the perfect Christmas cod has started. Hopefully we will get some decent weather.

The lobster fishing season is coming to an end, but we are giving it our all for the final couple of weeks. Today Kristian came home with two big ones.
